I am trying to avoid eating refined sugar as part of an experiment and I feel the need to share this tip. My naturopath told me this awhile back and it’s totally bang on (for me, anyhow): if you’ve eaten a meal and you crave something sweet afterwards, it means that you didn’t consume enough protein.
Today at work I didn’t have any other protein to eat, so I ate handful of M&M’s and that kicked the craving too.
I’ll do better tomorrow. It’s good to have goals.
